Ron Poplau, 86, began his next classroom journey on July 27, 2023 after a lengthy illness. He touched thousands of students lives in his 55 years in education; always adhering to what became his community service motto, "The Doer of Good Becomes Good." His numerous international, national and local awards were appreciated but his greatest joy was in helping family, friends, students and being a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. The man knew no strangers and patiently always helped those around him find the best part of themselves. He is survived by his wife of 57years, Linda; son, Jim (Christine); beloved granddaughters Jillian Maureen and Bethany Maeve; SIL Nan; nephew Jim (Larann); Gregg; Tom: Mike; great nephews Garret & Brock. He is preceded in death by his parents, John & Hilda; brothers Norman and Ray and beloved daughter, Kristy. Private family mass of Christian burial; internment Mt. Calvary Mausoleum. Ron requested no flowers but asked anyone in his life reach deeply into themselves and help one person as often as possible. Rest well good and faithful servant; you will be missed.
