David W. Johnson, 58, of Pleasant Valley, MO, passed away May 31, 2012 at Liberty Hospital. Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. followed by a memorial service celebrating David's life at 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 2, at the Park Lawn Northland Chapel, I-35 at 291 Highway, Liberty. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Mid-America Chapter of the Multiple Sclerosis Society or to American Cancer Society Relay For Life . David was born Dec. 4, 1953 in Shawnee, KS, the son of Wallis and Betty (Rice) Johnson. His father preceded him in death. David worked for Hunt Midwest Enterprises and later for various contractors in the construction business. Survivors include his wife, Donna; children, Pam Kolbe (Kendall) and Dylan Johnson; grandson, Fletcher Kolbe; mother, Betty Johnson; brothers, Steve Johnson (Evelyn) and Bill Johnson (Judy), as well as other family members and friends.
